9 Day Imperial Morocco Private Tour
Day 1: Depart the USA
Depart the USA for Morocco. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey.
Day 2: Arrive to Casablanca
Meet and greet at Casablanca airport then transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight. ( D )
Day 3: Casablanca, Rabat
After breakfast in the hotel, we start discovering Morocco’s largest city and economic capital. Begin tour with a walk around the Hassan II mosque, one of the tallest mosques in the world. Continue to the Ain Diab Corniche for a relaxing stroll along the coast. Go on to the Habous charter, the oldest part of Casablanca, which houses the Royal palace and continue to the Mohammed V Square in the city center. Optional lunch will be in a restaurant with a wonderful panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean. Leave Casablanca along the coastline to the political capital of Morocco, Rabat, for an afternoon orientation and a short tour of the Royal palace. Overnight in Rabat. ( B, D )
Day 4: Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis, Fes
After breakfast, continue city tour of Rabat with a visit to the Oudaya Kasbah, Rabat’s old square, or medina. Continue to the Mohammed V Mausoleum¬––the burial ground of the two late Alouite kings, Mohammed V and Hassan II––which houses a collection of intricate mosaics.
Day 5: Fes City Tour
Full day city tour of Fes with a local guide. Fes is Morocco’s spiritual and intellectual capital, and houses the country’s biggest medina. Fes’s numerous monuments are worth a very attentive visit, as each carries with it a unique set of histories and folklore.
Day 6: Fes, Ifrane, Benni Mellal, Marrakech
After breakfast, we will transfer to Marrakech, stopping in Ifrane and Benni Mellal along the way. Nicknamed “Morocco’s Switzerland,” Ifrane is a charming ski town populated by European-style houses. Its forests are also worth a stopover, if only to try and snap a picture of the monkeys that live there. We will then move on to Benni Mellal before departing to Marrakech for dinner and overnight.
